SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - In a commanding display, the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos secured a 2-0 victory in their final non-conference game of the season.
The match kicked off with high energy, and it didn't take long for the Broncos to establish their dominance. Forward Alexis Macias opened the scoring in the 30th minute, attaining her third goal of the season. As the first half progressed, the Broncos continued to press forward, maintaining control of the midfield. Their efforts paid off again in the 53rd minute when Vanessa Cruz doubled the lead and scored her fourth goal this season.
Strong defense was displayed from Bella Anderson and Bella Hara who both played all 90 minutes. The win not only showcased their offensive abilities but also highlighted the team's defensive strength, setting a positive tone as they prepare to dive into conference play.
