Following the ceremony, all those in attendance moved to the Kellogg Arena lobby for the unveiling of the plaques, freshly installed on the Hall of Fame wall in the lobby. The inductees then threw out a ceremonial first pitch before the Bronco baseball game at Scolinos Field.

Including the 2026 class, 66 athletes, seven coaches, three administrators, and three teams have been inducted into the CPP Athletics Hall of Fame over 13 classes, starting with the inaugural class in 1986. The 79 inductees attended Cal Poly Pomona over a span of eight decades from the 1950's to the 2020's. Since 2014, CPP Athletics has recognized a new class every two years, with the exception of 2022 due to the pandemic.

The next class is set to be inducted in 2028, with nominations being accepted starting in 2027.
