POMONA, Calif. – Parker LaMont delivered an eight-save performance, including a late penalty-kick stop, to lead Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer to a 2-1 victory over Biola at Kellogg Stadium on Senior night. 

Seniors Lamont, Grace Campos, Tatum Bowers, Georgia Rink, Braedyn Kincade, Makela Solbak, Mikaela Marr and Charlie Gallardo were honored prior to the match.

The Broncos improved to 2-0 behind two goals early in the second half and LaMont's presence between the posts. The junior goalkeeper made five saves during a scoreless opening half before adding three more after the break. Her stop came in the 88th minute, when she denied Biola's penalty kick attempt to preserve CPP's one-goal advantage and secure the Bronco's second win of the season.

After the teams entered halftime scoreless, Rink broke through just 94 seconds into the second period. Carly Radke supplied the assist on Rink's first career goal, giving the Broncos a 1-0 lead in the 47th minute.

CPP struck again only three minutes later. Radke delivered her second assist to Kailey Powers, who found the net in the 50th minute for her second goal of the season and doubled the advantage.
Biola cut the lead to 2-1 in the 72nd, but LaMont and the Broncos' defense protected the advantage the rest of the way.
