Radke's Goal Lifts Broncos Past #21 Simon Fraser, 1-0

POMONA, Calif. – Carly Radke scored the decisive goal as Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer remained unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over #21 Simon Fraser at Kellogg Stadium.

Radke provided the match's lone goal in the 17th minute, assisted by Georgia Rink and Braedyn Kincade to put the Broncos ahead. The goal was Radke's second of the season. She remained active throughout the contest, leading the starting lineup with three shots and placing two on goal.

The Broncos protected the advantage with another strong defensive performance. Goalkeeper Parker LaMont played all 90 minutes and secured her second shutout of the season, making her one crucial save in the 89th and last minute of play to deny the Red Leafs and preserve the one-goal lead. LaMont earned her third victory of the season as CPP improved to 3-0 overall.

Cal Poly Pomona controlled the match statistically, doubling Simon Fraser's shot total, 14-7, and holding a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal. The Broncos also earned all four corner kicks and maintained 55 percent of the possession.

Tristan Tessier provided a spark off the bench, recording a match-high four shots in 26 minutes. Sabine Ramos also placed an attempt on target, while Charlie Gallardo and Kailey Powers each finished with two shots.

CPP's back line of Rink, Holly Wilbanks, Mikaela Marr and Angelina Santana each played the full 90 minutes, limiting the Red Leafs to one shot on goal and helping the Broncos remain unbeaten in the young season.
