POMONA, Calif. - Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer erased a three-goal halftime deficit to earn a 3-3 tie against Cal State Monterey Bay. The Broncos moved to 3-3-3 overall and 1-1-1 in CCAA play.

The Otters struck in the third minute to take a 1-0 lead before adding goals in the 37th and 43rd minutes. CPP entered halftime trailing 3-0 despite holding a 6-4 advantage in shots.

The Broncos began their comeback in the 53rd minute when Esteban Salais converted a penalty kick for his first goal. Clement Badger cut the deficit to one in the 73rd minute, scoring an unassisted goal to make it 3-2. The goal was Badger's first of the season.

CPP completed the comeback in the 88th minute. Jose Garcia and Juan Zaragoza combined to set up Salais, who finished the opportunity for his second goal of the match and season, tying it at 3-3.

Badger led CPP with four attempts and placed one on target, while Gamez added two shots. Garcia recorded his second assist of the season, while Zaragoza collected his first.
