Cal Poly Pomona right-hander Jake Reed threw a seven-inning complete game on Saturday to help the Broncos salvage a series split with Cal State San Bernardino. The Simi Valley, Calif., native limited the visiting Coyotes to just five hits while he didn’t allow a single walk. Reed sports an earned run average of 1.72 on the season in 36 innings pitched.
