Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

With late dramatics from freshman Aneska Alino, the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 1-0, in a double-overtime Friday contest in CCAA action. In the 118th minute of the match, Alino received a cross from senior forward Justine Barclay. With a wide-open look, Alino put the ball into the upper-right corner of the net to seal the victory in sudden-death double overtime. It was Alino's third goal and Barclay's fifth assist on the year.
