Competing in its second regular season meet, the Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field team put together a balanced effort Saturday at the Cal State L.A. Invite with several personal bests and an impressive provisional qualifier.

Junior Jessica Giacoletti has made an immediate impact for the Broncos early in the season and on Saturday, she placed first in the high jump with a 5-7.75 mark. That height puts her sixth all-time on the Broncos' top 10 list for that event. Finishing second in the high jump Saturday was one of Giacoletti's teammates, Erin Zwinger, at 5-1.75.
