The season is still young but the 2014 Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer team has already entered the program's record book.

On Thursday Pablo Quevedo turned in an impressive performance against Azusa Pacific, and likely the top highlight of the match was a series of stops he made with APU pressure just a few yards away and hard shots coming at point-blank range.

With a 2-0 win at Cal Baptist Saturday, the Broncos improved to 4-0-1 for the best start in school history. It also marks the fifth-consecutive shutout, setting a program best for that streak as well.

CPP put the pressure on the Lancers from start to finish and ended up with a 21-11 shot advantage. Broncos' goalkeeper Fernando Pablo Quevedo continues to play well and totaled four saves Saturday.

The 4 saves on Thursday and 4 saves on Saturday means the junior goalkeeper now has amassed 21 saves on the season.
