Chris Powell continues to dominate on the mound this season for the nationally-ranked Cal Poly Pomona baseball team. In his latest start, the senior right-hander tossed six scoreless innings against Cal Baptist to lower his season earned run average to 0.42. That mark puts him at No. 2 on the conference leaderboard among CCAA pitchers. Powell and the Broncos will return to action Friday with a road game against Cal State Monterey Bay.
