Huizar led the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos to a first place individual and team finish as he and teammate Francisco Gomez finished first and second in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational.  In the race, the Broncos finished seven runners in the top 10 spots. CPP earned a field low 22 points, a full 41 points lower than second-place finishing Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
