For the second time in the past three seasons, the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team has secured a top-10 finish at Nationals. On Saturday, the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships were held in Joplin, Mo., and the CPP squad secured a ninth-place finish.

With the Green and Gold's stellar finish, two members of the team earned All-American honors. The top finisher for the Broncos with a 30:25.00 in the 10k race was Mark Huizar, CPP's all-time record holder in the 8k category. The junior provided his teammates with a 35th overall finish in the race of 246 runners.
