On Friday in a 3-1 home victory over Humboldt State, junior Kristin McNeese collected 18 kills, the second-best total of her career. The Broncos dominated the first two games, picking up 25-18, 25-14 victories, before dropping the third game 25-21. CPP rebounded in convincing fashion to capture the fourth and final game, 25-12. McNeese’s hitting percentage of .424 also stands as the second-best mark of her career. She tallied a combined 12 kills in the other two matches last week, home losses to Cal State San Bernardino and Sonoma State.
