CPP CCAA Preview Meet Info
POMONA, Calif. – Jumpstarting their seasons a bit earlier in September, the Cal Poly Pomona men's and women's cross country teams begin competition Friday in Ontario with the CPP CCAA Preview Meet.
As described in the title of the meet, this week's race will provide teams to run the same course that will used in the California Collegiate Athletic Assocation (CCAA) Cross Country Championships on Oct. 22.
For this Friday's meet, the men's distance will be 6,000 meters while the women will run 4,000 meters. All of the fun will take place at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario with the women's race beginning at 10 a.m. and the men's race following at 10:30 a.m. In following park policy, each vehicle that enters the parking lot will be issued a $10 admission fee.

FinishedResults.com and on BroncoAthletics.com.
The Broncos' men's cross country squad is returning after a ninth-place finish at the 2015 nationals. The CPP women narrowly missed an individual qualifier and the squad will look to boost its regional ranking in order to earn a spot at the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be held Nov. 19 in Saint Leo, Fla.

Ruben Dominguez will look to lead the Broncos' men's squad this season while the women's squad features six seniors, including top returners
Ashli Baddorf and
Calene Morris.
