Pomona – The Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team will look to avenage a pair of losses as they continue California Collegiate Athletic Association action on the road against U.C. San Diego and Cal State San Marcos this weekend.

Last Week: The Broncos (8-9, 4-5 CCAA) won two out of three games, upsetting #23 Cal State San Bernardino before earning a five-set victory over Cal State Los Angeles.
Alexandra Gresham led the Broncos against the Coyotes, recording 18 kills and
Andrea Bosnic picked up 17 kills against the Golden Eagles.
By the Numbers: Bosnic continues to dominate games as she is third in the conference with 198 total kills. As a team, the Broncos average 12.88 kills per set which is fourth in the conference. Gresham hit above .300 in all three matches last week which earned her the CCAA Volleyball Player of the Week accolade.
Triton Report: U.C. San Diego comes into the matchup with an overall record of 12-3 and CCAA record of 6-1. The Tritons are first in the southern division of the CCAA and have yet to lose a game at home. The Tritons strength is their defense as they are in the top five of nearly every defensive category in the conference. In their previous matchup this season, UC San Diego fought off the Broncos, winning the first set 31-29 before sweeping CPP on the road.
Cougar Report: Cal State San Marcos comes in with an overall record of 8-7 and CCAA record of 5-2. The Cougars are third in the southern division of the CCAA. The Cougars heavily rely on their defense as they average 17.46 digs per set and 2.15 blocks per set. CSU San Marcos also picked up a win on the road against the Broncos, winning 3-2 at the end of September.
