Last Week: The Broncos (8-3-0, 4-2-0 CCAA) split their games last week losing a tough one to University of California San Diego in overtime and dominating Cal State San Marcos.
Sergi Monso dominated the game against the Cougars as he scored twice and picked up two assists.
By the Numbers: Monso is having a phenomenal year as he continues to lead the conference with 15 goals and is tied with seven assists for the top spot. Monso has tallied 32 career goals for the Broncos, only three shy of tying the program record with six regular season games left.
Jimmie Villalobos is quietly having a good year as he is tied for fourth place in the conference in goals with six.
As a team the Broncos are averaging three goals a game which places them at the top of the CCAA.
Jacks Report: Humboldt State is having a good year as they enter the matchup 6-3-0 overall and 3-2-0 in CCAA play. As a Team they average 1.5 goals a game. In their matchup with the Broncos in 2016, the Jacks were dealt a 1-0 loss at home.
Seawolves report: Sonoma State enters the matchup with an overall record of 5-4-2 and a conference record of 2-2-1. As a team they are fourth in the conference in scoring, averaging 1.636 goals a game. Sonoma will look to avenge a 2-0 loss in the first round of the 2016 West Region tournament after collecting a 1-0 win over the Broncos during the regular season.
