#20 Gators Sweep Broncos On Saturday

POMONA -- The Cal Poly Pomona baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday to No. 20 San Francisco State, 8-7 and 7-5 in nine innings, at Scolinos Field in Pomona.

The Broncos have lost six straight, falling to 11-14 overall and 9-10 in the CCAA.  The Gators, meanwhile, remain undefeated at 12-0-1 and 10-0 in the CCAA.

Cesar Lopez, Matt Manskar, Ryon Knowles and Brennan McKenzie each had three hits in the two games combined, accounting for 12 of the 19 hits by the Broncos on Saturday.

Cal Poly Pomona and SF State will wrap up the four-game series Sunday with a single game at 11:00 am in Pomona.
