Shooting 52 percent from the field, the 25th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team cruised to a 84-50 win over Whittier Thursday in an exhibition contest at Kellogg Gym.

Preseason All-American Mitchel Anderson led the Bronco charge with 20 points, including a 5-for-6 effort from beyond the arc. Redshirt freshman Barry Bell added 11 points of his own while collecting three assists, three rebounds and two steals.
