Freshman Luis Najera Jr. put together an impressive first week as a Bronco, helping the men's soccer team to two wins in Northern California. In Thursday's 3-1 victory at Holy Names, Najera played a key role in all three CPP scores as he recorded one goal and two assists. During Saturday's 4-0 rout at Dominican, he tallied two goals to push his weekly point total to eight.

The Broncos return to action Friday with a 4:30 p.m. road game at conference rival Cal State L.A. The Golden Eagles are ranked at No. 21 nationally.
