POMONA, Calif. - Friday's 7 p.m. match against Cal State East Bay marks the annual "Dig for a Cure" match held in Kellogg Gym in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team will play the Pioneers of Cal State East Bay in the first of two home matches this weekend.

The Broncos have registered a 6-6 record thus far this season while tallying a 4-5 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) record.

Cal State East Bay will head to Kellogg Gym with a 5-9 overall mark and a 2-7 record in conference.

CPP has registered 120 blocks on the year as well as 71 service aces, with
Nicoletta Stork leading the way with 15 so far in the 2014 season.

Coming on Saturday, the Broncos will host the Otters of Cal State Monterey Bay. CSUMB currently holds a 4-9 overall record and has secured a 4-5 record in the CCAA. On Friday, the Otters play the 8-5 (6-3 in CCAA) UC San Diego Tritons.
