ALLENDALE, Mich. - Cal Poly Pomona senior Tiffany Gray placed 19th in the shot put Saturday at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships.

A Kinesiology major from Placentia, Gray put together a tremendous collegiate career and capped it off with a stellar performance in the national spotlight. She posted a mark of 44-0.5 on Saturday, the final day of the D-II Championships in Michigan.

Earlier this month at the Cal State L.A. Last Chance Meet, she registered a shot put distance of 48-9 to move up to No. 2 in the Cal Poly Pomona record book. 

At the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships in San Francisco, she collected a team-high 16 points to lead the Broncos to a second-place finish. Gray took first in the shot put and third in the discus.
