POMONA – For the fourth consecutive year now, the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team prepare for a California Collegiate Athletic Association playoff match as they kick off the conference postseason tournament today at 19
th-ranked Sonoma State at 1 p.m.
As the sixth seed in the tournament, the Broncos travel to the third-seeded Seawolves for their second matchup this season, defeating Sonoma 1-0 at home earlier this month.
A win today will send CPP to tournament host UC San Diego to take on the top-seeded Tritons on Friday, Nov. 3

Getting In: The Broncos earned the final spot in the playoff field after collecting a 3-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino in their regular-season finale.

th-ranked Seawolves 1-0 in double overtime, handing SSU their second CCAA lost at the time. Both teams rattled off 14 shots while Ives notched five saves to earn the clean sheet. In the 102

Seawolves Report: Sonoma has tallied the third highest goal total this season in the CCAA with 28 goals, averaging 1.75 goals per contest while in a tie for second in goals allowed with only 10. The Seawolves have pressured opponents throughout the year, totaling league-high 332 shots, averaging just over 20 attempts per game. Sonoma State is coming off a loss in their final regular season game, losing 1-0 to San Francisco State.
