Last Week: The 17th ranked Broncos (7-2-0, 3-1-0 CCAA) collected two conference wins against Cal State East Bay and Cal State Monterey Bay. Sergi Monso collected a hat trick against CSU East Bay and Jimmie Villalobos scored two against CSU Monterey Bay. Villalobos' efforts on the field earned him the CCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week after scoring a total of three goals on the weekend.

By the Numbers: Monso continues to dominate as he extended his total goals lead to 12. He has already matched his 2016 mark in goals scored which finished as a tie for the most in the CCAA. He also leads the conference with seven assists. The Broncos lead the conference averaging 3.2 goals per game and they have also out-scored their opponents 32-7 collectively.

Triton Report: UCSD enters the game 4-1-3 overall and 3-1-1 in CCAA play. They beat
Cal State Dominguez Hills, which is the Broncos only conference loss thus far, and tied against Cal State L.A. The Tritons are bottom five in the conference in average score per game only scoring 1.625 goals a game. In the United Soccer Coaches' West Region Poll, UCSD comes in at No. 9 overall, six spots behind the Broncos.

Cougars Report: Cal State San Marcos has had a slow start to the season as they are 2-4-2 overall and remain winless in conference play with a record of 0-3-1. The Cougars look to snap their three-game losing streak this weekend and will need to score more as they average less than one goal per game which places them in the bottom three in the conference.
