TURLOCK – The Cal Poly Pomona women's track & field team concluded the Kim Duyst Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State with two first-place marks as the Broncos finished their second week of competition.
For the second week in a row,
Hannah Stueve won her event as she finished first-overall at in the pole vault with a mark of 3.43 meters.
Imani Williams took fourth overall in the long jump with a distance of 5.27 meters while
Gabriela Stanford took sixth in the hammer throw with a toss of 43.08 meters.
On the track,
Alisha Greenlaw led the Broncos with a first-place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 5.34. Arianna Cooper took third overall in the 400-meter hurdles, running 1:06.01 while
Ryanne Napoleon finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.30
In the 1,500-meter run,
Araseli Servin finished seventh overall with a time of 4:49.30, followed by Samantha Aguilar in 10
th, running 4:58.53.
The Broncos return to action next week as they compete at the Occidental Distance Carnival beginning on Friday, Mar. 9.
