SAN DIEGO – The Cal Poly Pomona women's track & field team tallied three provisional marks as they competed at both the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and the California Collegiate Open held at UC San Diego.
At the San Francisco State Distance Carnival,
Lorraine Fernandez hit a provisional mark in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 36:05.04 to finish eighth overall. Also hitting a provisional mark was
Araseli Servin who ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:49.97 to finish 14
th overall.
Alisha Greenlaw led the Broncos on the track side at UC San Diego's Collegiate Open, finishing first overall in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.63.
Coming in fifth in the 400-meter sprint was
Ravyn Miller who finished with a time of 1:00.12 while
Samantha Aguliar finished eighth in the 1,500-meter run, clocking it at 4:51.56.
The CPP relay teams turned in two top 10 performances, coming in sixth in the 4x400-meter relay and seventh in the 4x100-meter relay.
Jenna Gonzales finished second overall in both the shot put and the discus, tossing a mark of 12.27 meters while hitting a provisional mark in the discus with a throw of 45.89 meters.
The Broncos will take next week off before returning to UC San Diego to compete in the Triton Invitational scheduled for Friday, April 13.
