AZUSA – The Cal Poly Pomona women's track & field team hit a number of personal bests in one of the biggest meets of the year, competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational on the campus of Azusa Pacific.
Araseli Servin hit a provisional mark in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the second time this season, running 10:51.46 to finish 38
th overall in the event.
Ravyn Miller finished the 400-meter run sub one minute, setting a personal best with a time of 58.38.
CPP's 4x100-meter relay team finished 14
th overall as
Bridgitte Agcaoili,
Ryanne Napoleon,
Alisha Greenlaw, and Miller ran a time of 48.63.
The 4x400-meter relay team featuring Miller, Napoleon,
Kalin Tomlinson and
Charisma Byrd took 11
th overall, running a time of 3:58.18.
Byrd also matched a personal best in the high jump, hitting a height of 1:57 to take 40
th overall in the event.
Imani Williams took 18
th overall in the long jump with a mark of 5.52 meters
Jenna Gonzales finished with discus in 18
th as well, throwing a distance of 40.92 meters.
The Broncos return to action next week on Friday, April 27, as they compete at the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational hosted by University of California – Irvine.
