ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – Ayana Fields 200-meter performance of 23.40 places her second on the NCAA Division II indoor track and field all-time record book behind Semoy Hackett (23.32).
The Broncos secured five provisional marks at University of New Mexico invite Friday and Saturday, and now hold nine provisional marks on the season.
Fields improved her time in the 200 meter and is ranked in first place in the national rankings.
Yuna Queniat also improved on her personal best in the 200 meter with a time of 24.70 and now ranks 26
th nationally in the event.
Quentiat also raced in the 60 meter leading CPP with a time of 7.65.
Jaelyn Thomas crossed the line at 7.85 for a new personal best and
Trinity Moseby followed with a time of 8.01 in her first race as a Bronco.
Also racing in the 200 meter was Thomas (25.06),
Tianna Jardstrom (26.21), and Moseby (26.36). In the 400 meter for the Broncos,
Tianna Jardstrom finished with a time 59.79 and
Susie Fowler closed in right behind her with a time of 1:01.77.
Leading the Broncos in the 800 meter was
Arissa Hatcher with a time of 2:14.63, placing her 19
th in the national rankings.
Vivian Martinez crossed the line with a time of 2:22.04 and
Alondra Arias finished with a time of 2:24.31.
Both Angie Arellano and
Bridget Edwards competed in the mile run finishing 5:16.76 and 5:35.06.
Susie Fowler earned her provisional mark in the 60 meter hurdle finishing with a time of 8.73 ranking 26
th nationally.
Keiana Hamm competed in the high jump with a height of 5' 1.25".
The Broncos competed in the 4x400 meter relay, Thomas, Jardstrom, Queniat, and Hatcher crossed the line with a time of 3:52.78 to make the provisional mark and are now ranked 18
th nationally in the event.
The next meet for the Broncos will be on Feb. 3th - 4th when travel to Colorado to compete in the Mines Winter Classic and Multi.
