Virginia Beach, Va. – The Cal Poly Pomona junior Ayana Fields advances to the final round in the 200 meter event at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field in Virginia Beach.
 
The Broncos were represented by Fields in the 200 meter event and the 60 meter event that were held Friday. In the 200 meter, Fields placed third with a time of 23.68 a mere .18 behind the first place finisher from Minnesota State.
 
In the 60 meter, Fields finished with a time of 7.50, placing her 12^th in the event. Tomorrow Fields returns to the track to compete in the 200 meter finals at 2:30 pm and she will join her team in the 4x400 meter finals at 3:30 pm.
