Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Michael Erb, of the nationally-finishing third place Cal Poly Pomona Broncos baseball team has been selected as a CPP Bronco Scholar-Athlete of the week for the week of Aug. 3 - Aug. 9. 

Erb played in 38 of the Broncos games while making starts in 21 of them, primarily at third base. He recorded a .321 on-base percentage and made just three errors in 41 attempts at the hot corner. 

Erb excelled acadmically, registering a 3.76 grade point average through the 2014-15 academic year. The kinesiology major finished up his junior campaign and will be working to finish his degree.
