Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

The Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field team captured six individual conference titles - including two from senior throwerSamantha Swanson - to finish in fourth place overall at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships.
 
Swanson continued to shine at the CCAA Championships on Saturday. Defending her hammer throw title, Swanson captured first place once again with a top mark of 165-0. She is a three-time CCAA champion, including the 2013 hammer title and both the hammer and discus titles this season.
