Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

The patriarch of Cal Poly Pomona athletics, Warhurst served more than 30 years as an educator, coach and as an administrator.

In 1957, he began a 10-year reign as head football coach and produced a record of 56-33-2 with the Broncos.

As well as a professor in the physical education department, he also served as the director of intercollegiate athletics, establishing the strong foundation seen today.
