Ron Larrieu
A 1964 Olympian, Larrieu made an immediate impact at Cal Poly Pomona (1960-1961) on the track and field team.

Larrieu established records in the mile (4:12.1), two mile (9:06.5), three mile (14:06) and 5,000 (14:32.8) in 1961.

Upon leaving CPP, Larrieu was the AAU cross country champion in 1965 and 1966. He placed third in the AAU 10,000 in 1967 and in the 5,000 in 1965.

He qualified for the 10,000 in the Tokyo Olympics, but did not medal.
